Reporting To: Bell Desk Supervisor
Start Date: Early November and early December
Salary: $9.75/hour, depending on the resort


Bellpersons provide an outstanding experience for our guests. They are responsible for handling and delivering guest luggage and answering guest queries in an efficient manner while working in a fast-paced environment. This is a physically demanding position that requires some manual labour, lifting and carrying.


  • Provide excellent guest service
  • Receive and deliver luggage/other items to and from hotel rooms – coordinate with the front desk and warehouse to ensure flow is smooth and within guaranteed times
  • Store and retrieve guest equipment from ski storage
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding the area, resort and hotel services and facilities
  • Remove snow from roofs and walkways
  • Maintain public areas of the hotel including the ski storage area
  • Cross-train for other hotel roles such as front desk or night audit
  • Participate in the operation of hotel guest activities as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Passion for providing outstanding guest service
  • Previous hotel experience
  • Fluent English proficiency
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; reliable, a team player with ability to use own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Provide driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract before commencement of duties (abstract cannot be any older than 30 days from employment start date)
