Tour Location

Barcelona, Spain

The home of Gaudi, Dali, the 1992 Olympics, FCB and the French Bulldog. It’s a tourist Mecca. Thousands upon millions upon billions of sun-seeking, fun-loving revellers flock here every year and there’s a bloody good reason for it. It’s because Barcelona is awesome. It has a bit of everything, but still retains a small city vibe. The nightlife is nothing less than hectic and intense, the day life is a myriad of colours, sites, sounds, smells, street performers and sangria. It’s a place you’ve just gotta see. And we’re pretty much experts… if we do say so ourselves… so we’ll show you Barcelona from the Stoke point of view. We stay in an area of Barcelona called Poblenou, just minutes from the beach, surrounded with cool bars and restaurants, and easy access to transport links.
Where in Barcelona is the the hostel?
It’s in central Barcelona right on the beach, in an area called Poblenou just a few minutes walk from one of the nicer of the city beaches.
Is transport included?
No but you’re real central, so its easy to get everywhere in the city by foot, or on the very cheap public transport system. Less that 10€ will get you a travel card (T10 to use on buses, trains and trams, with 10 journeys (note a T10 can be shared so no need to fork out for every person in your group)
What should I bring?
A towel and a smile. Maybe sunglasses and sunscreen as it gets pretty hot in the summer, a bikini or swimmers for the beach and something fancy for partying at Barcelona’s beach clubs!
