TUBE PARK ATTENDANT
OVERVIEW
Start Dates: Early/Mid December, depending on the resort
Salary: $9.75/hour, depending on the resort
Description
Tube Park Attendants provide an outstanding experience for our guests. They are responsible for safely launching and clearing guests from the various lanes as well as answering guest queries. This position requires a lot physical labour including physically assisting guests, chipping and shovelling snow, manoeuvring tubes & fences.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide outstanding guest service
- Assist and direct guests in a safe, professional, and efficient manner
- Shovel snow, chip ice in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform daily checks, complete timely logs, accident/incident reports
- Effective communication via radios, including prompt emergency notification to dispatch
- Maintain safety and operating guidelines of the lift and lift ramps as per Z-98 Code requirements
- Some resorts require staff to complete and pass a written exam
- Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE
- Passion for providing outstanding guest service
- Being physically fit is an advantage
- Fluent English proficiency
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to self-motivated with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willing to work outside in all weather conditions
